Delta Dental purchased the SplashBI solution in early 2016, and has more than 1,000 users across the company. They utilize the SplashBI platform for real-time reporting, dashboards & visualizations as well as the Excel add-ins: GL connect and Excel Connect.

As Oracle de-supported the Discoverer tool, Delta Dental could not risk having unsupported software, and they began to look for a new tool in the market. On their wish list were 3 items:

1. Self-Service Capable
2. Dashboards & Visualizations
3. Ad Hoc Reporting

SplashBi not only met the requirements set above with its self-service reporting, ad hoc capabilities and dashboards, it also provided much more!

U.S. Cargo Purchased the SplashBI solutions in early 2018, and utilizes the SplashBI platform for real-time reporting, dashboards & visualizations, as well as the Excel add-in: GL Connect and Excel Connect. They also utilize the library of pre-built content for Oracle E-Business Suite.

U.S. Cargo was looking for a Discoverer replacement, as not only was Discoverer desupported by Oracle, but it was complicated to used, and timely to create or modify reports.

The big selling point for SplashBI was its easy ability to create and run reports. the ability to review previous reports without having to save them someplace else was also a big advantage for their users. finally the pricce tag fit within their tight budget.

in addition to purchasing the pre-built content across finance, operations, and purchasing, the U.S. Cargo team has created oveer 20 new reports in the last six months and it has made a big difference in these areas

Most of the canned reports are perfect, or just need a few tweaks, like adding a few columns. Some of the reports, we are like, "OH WOW, I did not think of that report!"
